Balfaboy Added a reply to 2016 Racing Rumours

Not cool man. I work in business and stuff like this happens all the time. Rule of thumb in the professional world is until everything is signed and doted you say nothing and when you are dealing with multiple companies this can be difficult s to coordinate but to pull someone’s personal race or religion into this is unacceptable as...

Balfaboy Added a reply to slack, long-travel, pedal-able 29ers?

In the last 3 seasons I've ridden a 26, 29 and a 27.5 and in my personal opinion the 29 is better in every situation for even the tech riding here in BC. I had a 6inch travel 27.5 last season and although it "felt" faster on the tech and DH the race clock never lies and it was just...

Hey there hammerballs... haha. I run it a bit stiffer then most a 78psi with 4 clicks from full out on the compression and 5-7 clicks on the rebound depending on the track or trail.

Great review of the new pike. I noticed all the same issues with my fork. I'm 170 pounds and have been racing the Pike this season in various Enduro races and I have to noticed the binding issue which I found hard to explain until I read this review. I have also just started to notice the the creaking in the steertube/crowns under heavy breaking or steep terrain. I took the fork to sram during crankworx and they said it was my frame. I have to say though that the fork is amazing and feels great and overall I'm very...

jeff.brines Liked a product review Tested: RockShox Pike RCT3 Fork

Review by Jeff Brines // Photos by Patrick Nelson RockShox has reintroduced the Pike for the 2013 season, and they've aimed it squarely at the Enduro and trail market. Like the kinda-sorta-cute girl who moved away in the 6th grade, she’s back for senior year, fully grown up and turning every head in class. The fork appears to offer an unprecedented blend of feather-like weight, stiffness and trail eating performance. But how did it stack up in real world testing? After several months of riding, here are the results... Pike RCT3 Highlights Travel options: 26 or 27.5-inch 150mm or 160mm...

I have spent a lot of time on the 29r version of this bike and I would agree with all their points about this bike. The 29r is about 30lbs. The biggest thing I loved about this bike is the postion in the bike. You get on it and it just feel right. Good Job specialized.

Review and pictures by Johan Hjord Gloves have been part of the offering from Royal Racing for many years, and for 2013, the range is wider than ever. There’s a glove for every condition and every personal preference. The Signature Glove has been around since 2011 - it's Royal’s go-to glove for riders who prefer a very thin and lightweight glove. We laid our hands on (and put them in!) the 2013 edition to see how it would hold up to a couple of months’ worth of abuse. For 2013, Royal has taken a step back towards somewhat calmer styling...

Balfaboy Added a comment about feature 16 Super Sick Sam Hill Shots

The first shot is one of the last corners on the Bromont WC track. I've hit that countless times and never near the speed and grace of the shot. Pure riding perfection.
