The first bending mode for a beam (aka that shock plus strut) is to bend in the middle of a beam. The middle is the worst possible location to put a joint/fastener. Don’t do that!! These strut designs need to get shutdown before everyone realizes their shock and mounting hardware wear out or break far sooner than they should.

8/12/2011 9:05am Can't make a comparison to the Demo 8 II for you (haven't ridden one) but I can tell you the Session 9.9 is on another level of performance compared to the 2012 aluminum Session chassis. 1/10/2011 12:16pm Spomer, if you're looking for some comparable info you better get rider weights. Some of them big boys need lots of psi's compared to the stick figures, which makes sense. I like about 8.085-8.960 psi in most of my tires.
