I'm a mechanical engineer and even I'm on the verge of yelling "NERDS!" at you all. But seriously can it just be called a linkage driven horst, (or linkage driven four bar) to differentiate it from a conventional horst?

The tune was wrong. The spring rate was off, set up was wrong, shock was loud. Undid itself twice and is very expensive. Probably 5 stars hahaha

So Jesse will be riding for team espresso next year? Something tells me he's always ridden for team espresso...

Perhaps they enjoy working on their bike so much that they designed thru headset routing to provide themselves with hours of enjoyment to perform a task that'd usually take a few minutes. Or maybe they're just sadists?

Sometimes I wonder of the people designing bikes out there have ever wrenched on a bike. Then I sometimes wonder if they even rode a mountain bike seriously...

It’s always wild to me that these things are either massively misconstrued, or someone didn’t quite read the whole way through, and went right to the comments to find justification for their opinions. I think it states clearly in the release that it is definitely not a steering damper, but essentially a method to self centre the handlebars. and in the brief review on that other site, it states that riding with your hands off is quite a bit more difficult.

The problem of what you are saying is the 'when' part. Honestly I haven't heard anyone saying they haven't had a problem with the X2 series of shocks, either the DHX2 or the Float X2. Cool that it's the best shock WHEN it works. I prefer a lesser shock that _WORKS_. Having the theoretically best bike helps me diddly squat if it's parked in the garage, waiting for a service, spare part or anything similar. Even a shitty bike is better when being ridden on the trails compared to the best bike that's waiting to be serviced and not available...

In future could the not show it with a 30-60 minute delay to take into account editing, rider profiles, delays for wind/crashes/etc? That way they would have more flexibility to get the second run in if it’s going to get windy? they don’t have to announce the winner until the end so there wouldn’t be a spoiler vis social media.

And even if she did, Pendrel was back racing months after and Rach was back on it soon after as well. Women are strong as hell and can have a child and come back just as strong quickly if they have the support system for them send it while taking care of their new life. If Kate did want a kid and plans worked out for end of the season/before the next season, she'd only miss a few races and could keep crushing it.

GG to Trek would be Trek looking towards the future... As for Kate getting married, having a kid doesn't necessarily mean she would be done racing. Some time off, yes. She wouldn't be the first racer to come back after child birth..

People don’t just have kids because they got married, it’s not the 1950s. Many continue to do their work/travel/lifestyle/compete for years and then have kids (if they even want them). Just because a female athlete is married doesn’t mean she’s going out to pasture to breed. Especially one at the top of her game like Kate. When’s got a several...
