I never said wheels aren’t disposable. I said e13 is junk and I said it’s not normal to throw your broken sponsored parts in the trash for any dude to find walking by. Usually it ends up in the race trailer and disposed of a little more discretely or sent back to the supplier if it’s a prototype or whatever...

@matvaillancourt1 posted this photo in 2025 team rumors thread. "spotted in MSA" - is it real? with teams having to be selected in the next month, stands to reason they'd get photoshoots done in MSA before everyone goes home.

Look up 10 or so posts from here on this page. Could be that Ronan, Dak or whoever just F’d up or…. A team openly throwing stuff in the trash? That’s not a good look for anyone involved.

Yah them doing black bikes with anodized frames again just seems right. I love my raw jedi frame too but if we are going to color anything black is so proper.

Don't think anyone who saw Meier Smith (even before he signed at Giant) didn't think he'd win a World Cup. Hindsight being 20/20, there was an edit of him hitting a park in Australia few years back I immediately thought he would win World Cups. There is something about his combo of power & reaction time that is unmistakable. Think he'd won sooner, but like so many others, he took a few monster injuries that "delayed" his 1st win. Also...let's shout out to our Vital member @Sugarbrad on his World Cup winning mechanic skills! Not often the forums have a...

Some teams with big funding that haven’t performed this year. The YT Mob racers must be in a position to really help some teams make a real step next year if those teams decide to stick around. Does anyone think Richie Rude is going to be racing downhill next year?

Having ridden a DJI powered bike (Mith) extensively, to the extent I still have an order in for one, and also having a Bosch Gen 5 bike, with the power upgrade, the post above covers the pertinent points. I don’t think there is that much variance in efficiency, all things being equal, but I don’t buy into the notion of “if it’s not got a DJI it’s not selling”. Bosch outsell DJI at a rate of thousands to one, they aren’t going anywhere with the latest motor. It’s really good & fractions different in the real world. The problem is...

I'm testing a Telum right now for Vital, and I will say I'm super impressed and would recommend to anyone who's not afraid to turn knobs. The base settings are good, although the recommended spring rate was maybe 30 pounds higher than what I settled on (YMMV). The ability to fine tune the shimstacks on HSC and HSR without taking the shock apart is amazing to me, saves $250 on a retune every time I want to play with the Rapid Revalve settings. Super cool shock. Only gripes so far are price (duh), weight (don't care), and I've gone through...
