My Italian is a little rusty, but it seems this was made using a servo from the RC world, connected to some kind of stroke measuring device on the brake lever blade. The idea being to change the compression settings of the shock under different types of braking events.

Now that is cool. RC servos are pretty quick for their intended applications. This is a way better idea than wireless brakes.

I am pretty shit on jumps and as far as I can tell in bikeparks I am far from alone. I wonder how well the system can recognise the shit "in air technique" of your average rider and distinguish it from a WC DH pro about to lose control...

Looking at the nicolai, I can't help but imagine trying to explain to the park ranger than I am actually riding a Class 1 pedal assist ebike, and not a surron type e-moto. I want an eDH bike as much as anyone but I'm not sure this is a good direction for ebikes to be going. Let's make more ebikes that look like bikes, not motorcycles.

One big tech not and one small tech note from World Champs pit bits- As y'all mentioned, Schwalbe now makes a 32" Radial Gravity Pro Magic Mary, which is a big deal because that makes it the first truly heavy duty 32" tire from any brand. Previously Neko was running an EXO+ Dissector up front on his 32" Frameworks DH bike at Mountain Creek. He said the EXO+ front tire felt fine and didn't bug him, which is nuts, and makes me suspect that the 32" front wheel could actually feel really really good with a proper DH tread, casing...
