https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADXu2hPmRbE Closeup shots of the covered up prototype. The idler area is Session/Neko HP like. And it's a Horst link, so it's possible it was Neko's bike. Or a Session with a different seatstay maybe? o.O

Anyone else look fondly back at those halcyon days when it was possible to express an opinion without being classed as a hater?

Not trying defend Gwin, but if he is such a jerk or difficult to work with, why would Neko be ok with his good riding buddy, Dak joining a team where the owner and principal rider is onerous. Further, why would Whitely, who has extensive time working with Gwin, send one of his athletes to Gwin’s team. As for products, I recall Gwin wanted to carry Onza over to the new program, but, from the sounds of the interviews I heard, they were not able due to contractual obligations. I love how YT has skated on their second disbanding of...

Let's go Brandon is the dumbest work around I have ever heard. If you want to say something just say it, don't act like some grade 3 kid scared to swear in front of their grand parents. Also, saying you'd shoot some one with a 9mm on the internet over your opinion pretty much sums up that you probably shouldn't own a gun and have a problem.

Not a critique on Greg, but it can’t be easy to get out of his shadow as the GOAT or really challenge him as n1, and both Loris and Luca might look at it like that. Greg is a legend, but Matti Lehikonen mentionend on Needle’s latest podcast that it is apparently not exactly a secret that Greg plays lots of mindgames. Not necessarily mean or meaning harm, he wouldn’t be so beloved if he wasn’t a good guy overall, but I could see those things weighing heavily on both those decissions. They also benefitted from learning from him this...

Maybe it’s my background in PR, maybe it’s my cynicism, or maybe it’s Maybelline, but this quote from Luca is heavy and possibly quite telling: “Coming on board Canyon Collective has been like a breath of fresh air so far!”

Took these today at a buddies place...he found the WWII pilot of the Mustang (who is still living) and did offer to take him for a ride...shame, we had a conversation that if it were in a US museum someone would get "Triggered" by the Swastikas on the body, not knowing what they even meant (or mean today). Be safe all - with luck, we will still have a Freedom of Speech in the US in another eighty years. Edit : the Heuy in the image was shot down SIX TIMES in Vietnam. There is another smaller helicopter...

i'd argue there is very little difference because strait WAS in the most viewed videos and media forms available during his time. he was as "visible" as jackson and was at the top of dirt jump, slope, slalom, freeride and world cup DH in his day. strait did it all and was shown in every way possible, no different than jackson today.

I think Kyle Straight would take that title. He was shredding and getting photos in the mags as a baby faced kid and rode in the first rampage at 16. Jackson is awesome though and it is cool to see him progressing from balance bike to World Cup DH.

Drawing a very hard line in the sand here, and listen up Colin and everyone else. Colin - Your post was not related to Team Rumors. If you wanted to address team rumors, you would have shared the video where Kyle addressed his YouTube audience directly to discuss his health and riding future. You did not choose that. You chose an interview on a doctor's platform to flex on your own idea. Your post is not being deleted because we need people to get the idea to shape up. If you want to share discussions on vaccinations, we have places...

At no point have I defended his behavior in anyway. I am simply empathetic to the fact the people make mistakes. I also don’t think he has done anything that’s remotely unforgivable. As I’ve said before the thing that really bothers me about “the cancel culture” thing is the hypocritical outrage and often refusal to forgive people and allow them to grow. If cam chose not to respond to criticism I wouldn’t be posting my opinions on the subject. Personally I don’t buy amaury’s story about not knowing the n-word is offensive. I think he underestimated how offensive it is...

He reached out to fans and apologized for his behavior. What’s in the past is in the past and let’s see how he represents the sport from here. Personally it’s the public vilification of people’s mistakes that bothers me about cancel culture. Companies and people have every right to spend their money where they want. We all do and say things that we regret with hindsight. And generally that hindsight doesn’t come entirely internally or necessarily easily. I don’t disagree at all with hyper or shimano’s decision to part ways, but I certainly hope the best for cam and his...
