4/8/2022 8:22pm [tinfoil hat on] The Industry ™ is heavily trying to get as many ebikes as they can in the market. I still maintain the prices of the bikes we all know and love since always went up to make ebikes more appealing. I mean, if you're a noob, why would you get a bike if 200 bucks more gets you a battery, a motor and less effort? They're also trying to bridge the looks gap, enlarging the downtubes and the BB area. And ultimately, you find pieces like this: https://www.singletracks.com/mtb-gear/what-should-riders-call-non-elect… Where the renaming of MTBs gets thrown in the arena...

3/28/2022 7:52pm what do you think he's going to name it, "I have to produce an income by sharing the secrets that made me a millionaire downhill rider"? You think Greg Minnaar ever made a video that said "I have to develop a new bike, team, so forgive me for a couple years bad results"? I'm sure he's trying to be the...

3/28/2022 7:43pm It also makes the total amount of travel decrease by about 15mm if it does go from 3 to 2.1. This wouldn't increase bottom out resistance in any way over the 3.3-2.1 set up. It would actually decrease it if an identical amount of sag was used. If less sag then could be equal. Just kind of would make it ride like a smaller bike, which may very well be the purpose. Spring rate, shock stroke, and amount of damping is all that dictates bottom out resistance. Leverage curve just makes it feel a certain way as it uses the...

3/28/2022 7:13pm Maybe Gwin doesn't care as much about winning as he does about developing a bike, brand, and a team. Nothing wrong with that, he's still one of the best to ever ride a bike. And maybe he even finds his mojo to go crazy fast again, he's still got years.

3/25/2022 7:58pm Who's gonna win in the Enduro Class? Forbidden Dreadnought? Orbea Rallon? Norco Range? Any others? Bet the riders were happy to have bottle cages so they could stay hydrated during those long uplift queues.

I know we're in for a grand spectacle and I'm SO eager for the racing that's upon us.. But boy what I would've done to see a return of the legend between the DH-tape.. Allright that's enough off-line and what isn't, back to what is: RACING!

3/19/2022 12:25pm This is really only true in SoCal and the SF Bay Area. Other parts of California treat MTB riders like proper stewards of the land. Where I live, near the Sierra National Forest, we have an MTB club that actively maintains a huge trail network on national forest lands (with permission from USFS), and we were granted access to private property owned by Southern California Edison (utility provider) to build a massive network of legit DH trails like this one...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJOFmHEzsds&t=371s. SCE literally gave us our own keys to the gate and allowed moto access to quickly reach trail work areas...

3/12/2022 9:38am https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADXu2hPmRbE Closeup shots of the covered up prototype. The idler area is Session/Neko HP like. And it's a Horst link, so it's possible it was Neko's bike. Or a Session with a different seatstay maybe? o.O

1/23/2022 7:37am Not trying defend Gwin, but if he is such a jerk or difficult to work with, why would Neko be ok with his good riding buddy, Dak joining a team where the owner and principal rider is onerous. Further, why would Whitely, who has extensive time working with Gwin, send one of his athletes to Gwin’s team. As for products, I recall Gwin wanted to carry Onza over to the new program, but, from the sounds of the interviews I heard, they were not able due to contractual obligations. I love how YT has skated on their second disbanding of...
