Shapeshifter adds weight and complexity for what seems like minimal benefit. Nobody who cares about uphill efficiency is buying a 31 pound bike in the first place. The lower spec models are probably going to be pushing 35 pounds with pedals. No bike in this weight class is ever going to be a quiver killer, so why pretend?

He was by far the most favourite rider for the spectators. Giving all he has in practice runs and qualis... After crashing and getting on the bike again , the people went wild all the way for him. True champ in the eyes of the crowd!

alright wentz is on the road but i called him. he said "i'd take a DHF for angel fire. if it was steeper and rougher like lenzerheide and where the corners weren't quite as rutty, i'd take the assegai." - he'll chime in soon. he thought DHF rolled faster for sure.
