why do ppl think intense can found an international race team when they just exited the european markets due to finacial reasons?

yeah it's funny how as we age our interest change too. My whole youth was racing DH, Supercross and motocross. Golf and Baseball were far from interesting. Now I've had a couple of kids, a massive mortgage and half a head of grey hair my interest have shifted to the old man stuff, lawn care, golf, watching sport and drinking beer alone lol. Riding bikes will always remain, it's more the social aspect of it now. My appreciation for what people enjoy is broadened. My tolerance for dickheads and fake people has decreased. I am officially old.

I think the media partner should have no say in how the sport is governed.

I liked the idea of Dak to Intense, but Will intense even have a team next year? If Joe Breeden is actually the guy rumoured to be testing a nukeproof then doesn’t that mean there wont be an intense on the World Cup circuit? Ms are now on zerode after all.

Rumor is all it is for now, and I really hope it stays rumor as the Junior category is so good. Especially now it's televised. There has been quite a few late bloomers in the men's junior category over recent years. And this season finally had insane depth in the junior women's category. So all in all scraping the junior WC category now would be crazy. I had seen or read either on here or PB comments that it was some of the WC team managers who wanted to scrap the junior category and not WB. Curious to see what...

I think it's a terrible idea to discontinue juniors, especially for the non-europeans riders. The tracks are so different in the US from the European tracks that going over as a junior is one of the only ways to learn. Its seems the US riders get less interest than the European and very few end up on factory teams as it is. I dont the the feeder series will be much help, as awesome as the Monster Pro DH and the National series races are, in giving the juniors enough exposure to be put on a factory team and then...

There is no continental series. They simply ask favors and string together a calendar from events that went thru the effort and cost to be uci events. Maybe that will change going forward but it does not seem to be their prerogative. also. More runs filmed and presented well is much better than full runs from both an entertainment and sporting perspective.

If the race is shorted too much you lose the build. WB don't capture the the full rums even when they have time to. The long shots taken from orbit are pointless, you can't see anything which is going on. When the line is 3-4cm wide, what does such an angle show us? My two cents. I like watching “second tier” riders right along side the pointy end dudes. Especially when you get to see a rider develop over a few seasons. The rider that starts to qualify more regularly, then becomes a top 15-20 dude, then top 10, and finally a podium threat. I like to see this on the same courses as Loic and Jackson, it gives me scale. I love WC racing, I pay to watch. I am not going to suddenly start paying close attention to IXS Cups. Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

Or, Norco. Team being managed by a legend that was the king of tinkering with frame adjustments until the day he retired. A team that has a F1 engineer. From and outsider perspective. current mondraker is a factory team for at least 2 seasons! MS (Markus Stöckl) WAS mondraker (till 2023), then intense (2024) and is now zerode.
