I don't really understand what happened (or happens) to Orange. Mr Ashley Ball seems to be an owner of P Bairstow Limited (which I understand is basically a factory that produces stuff): https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/0070… and this company was, indeed, in the administration. He also was/is a Director for Orange Mountain Bikes limited, which was also in an administration: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/0228… . Orange...

For the record, I would fully get behind a trail rumors thread. No locations, just pictures of the filthiest illegal trails out there

In a big turn of events, Dak turns to international hand modeling and quits racing to protect the valuable hands.

Yeah I'll admit I zoomed in on both and matched some key freckles on both hands. Some are not as prominent in the mondraker photo but I'm 99% sure it's him. ... the whole process felt weird as hell haha.

Just so they know and to encourage them if they're reading this, when they come out with the Kryptotal front in Enduro casing Supersoft, I'm buying a pallet. Maybe two if they also do the Trail casing in Supersoft.

What the UK calls a "country" is practically what America calls a "state", and what most of the world calls a "province/territory". It's not special, I'm a British citizen too and it is administratively the same thing, the English just have to appease Wales and Scotland by calling them "countries". So, still effectively regional racing. Albeit in a really small region comprising a smaller population than most American states. This isn't to criticize her achievements, I race non-professionally in a regional series and it is still very difficult. If Welsh Enduro wants to be a proper top-level domestic series it...

Unfortunately, even as we approach the year 2024, mountain bikes still take influence from road cycling instead of doing or using things that actually work. In my mind, this is why we still see 170mm travel bikes coming stock with 175mm cranks, one piece bar and stem combos, and one size fits all chain stay lengths. Road bike DNA is inherently imbedded in MTB DNA, we’ve gone a long way though, from running 650mm wide bars with 120mm stems and 1.95 tires to where we are now, but it’s still tangentially tied to mountain bikes. Also, like Charlie said on...

9 speed 10-50 or similar is too wide - the spacing between jumps is noticeable even on emtb and not fun. been there done that - even with less wide chinese cassettes it's just too much of a jump to comfortably change gears.
That makes little sense considering we're on an american website where everyone carries their bike to the trailhead in ridiculous trucks...
