Main pawl seal does indeed look like zero drag, but it also looks like zero seal. Rebuilding a friend's hub this is always his biggest problem. Be nice if they offered a proper seal (at the expense of some extra drag) for those of us who ride through British winters.

Somewhere I saw parts of the patent documentation for these brakes. And at the same time information that other companies are also working on similar solutions. This design is supposed to work better with the wires going into the frame headstock or even in the handlebar itself, and at the same time are supposed to be less likely to be damaged in an accident.
