Pretty rad! I’d probably go with the enduro casing for the front, as the super soft DH is VERY slow.

You obviously haven't ridden there but it's the best lift I've ever ridden, especially for a "smallish" mountain on the east coast of the US. Each Gondola holds 3 riders and bikes (4 if you're good friends) and gets to the top in about 5 minutes. I've done 15-20 runs in a day and could have done more if my hands weren't bleeding.

"Brake pads are the single most important part of the bike, which determines how confidently you can descend." LOL lots of engineers have tried over the last decades to make bikes descend more confidently, and finally Absolute black figured out it's the pads! amazing!

Looking at the thermal images, why is there no temperature scale included? More importantly, why is Shimano's rotor hub, including the lockring, that much brighter? Kinda smells like unequal temperature scales... Also, the waffles are barely seen in the image while the fins of the Shimano pad are bright AF. At least one of them is doing something... At least the compound gives a lot of hope to genuinely be good by the looks of things.

Heck yeah! This is awesome. Glad that some smaller brands were given the nod this go around. Yeah there is always the Trek, Specialized, Giant and Commencal DH bikes, but you don't have to look far to read reviews about those! Been reading Vital content since end of high school (2010) and I still keep coming back !

Haha you're not wrong, and I'm stoked people still care what music is in riding videos. Royalty-free music for YouTube is the worst, but I'll make a point to start including some better tunes. Stoked you dig this year's testing concept!

Dh bikes are so fun. I actually bought one this year after not owning one for a number of years and just riding my enduro rig everywhere. On proper terrain a good dh bike is unmatched.

For me Hardline feels like the mates races that we did when we were younger. We build jumps, steep lines etc. that scared us, then helped/encouraged each other until (nearly) everybody hit them. Finally, we timed ourselves on this track for bragging rights. Hardline fells the same to me, just on a way bigger scale (jumps, organization and marketing).
