I don't know anything about BK's background, but the guy does 3 jobs. Team owner, team manager, and pro rider (top 5 in the world). He deserves to reap the rewards because that requires a serious amount of hard work and dedication, and of course talent. Not to mention his sideline projects such as the clothing brand. Plus the guy is super likeable, clearly loves riding, and is refreshingly open and honest in interviews. It would be awesome to see him standing on top of that podium in 2024.

I was just in Bentonville, Arkansas this past weekend. The self proclaimed "Mountain Bike Capital of the World". The mix on the trails was about 80% E-Bike. And to be fair an E-bike is absolutely the right tool for the job for the majority of the trail hubs. The industry sees the writing on the wall. Long travel bikes without motors are a terrible purchase for almost anyone, but a motor bike with a 170mm Coil and 180mm up front and you have a party machine that can get you anywhere. I'm pretty certain that Transmission doesn't "know" anything about position of ramp cogs. The system has a stiffer chain, more precise alignment between the derailleur and cassette, more force from the derailleur, and a refined ramp pattern. When you queue up multiple shifts, you immediately hear the bzzt bzzt bzzt of the derailleur moving, then the chain works it's way up/down the cassette. If it knew where the ramps were, you'd click click click, then it would break up the bzzt as gears changed. XTR shifting in my experience is quicker if you time shifts. T-Type (I have on an...

There's a huge push being put on shops to sell E-bikes right now, and TBH, rightly so. Its finally a product that people want that actually makes shops money even if they are more of a pain in the ass on the back end.
