You know, i just realized something I do NOT like about the V3, no longer externally routed rear brake. Huge selling point for me....hmmmmm

As an owner of a V2 Sentinel and Spire, they have become my favorite riding frames. Their geometry is just dialed, plenty of anti squat, plenty of climbing traction. And when you point them down, super stable at speed, not twitchy.

I will stick with my Push Nine. One and Eleven.Six. US Made. Excellent customer support, super fast turn around for service. My Trickstuff brakes are expensive up front, but servicing and parts are readily available and ship DHL in 3 business days. This BOS stuff.....they have a long way to go.

Unimaginable devastation. Humbling. We were planning to go back to Asheville last weekend, show our daughters the Biltmore and the arts, the last time my wife and I went was before we had kids. Just gutted for all of that area, a total loss for words

I don't think the rest of the country understands that 100 square miles of the US was almost completely wiped off the map. Not just some flooding and mold. Rain and hurricane force winds have changed the course of our rivers & streams, simply eliminated most any road in a way you can't comprehend, flooded most anything that has never flooded in history & wiped out the lives of those close to us in numbers we won't know for a long time to come. And yet, online all I read is "when do you think i can come ride?" None...

Smart man, trail building is highly lucrative these days (at least in the US). Atlanta is paying $15 million for three miles of mtb trails......💵

Interesting with the Lewis lever on the Maxima. Out of the box my Direttissima were a perfect bleed, and after a few days of riding, bedding in, I have no reason to want a bite point adjust, or at least I don't feel like i'm missing anything. With the T4V4 Hope's, I definitely dialed it in given how long the...

next one that tells me that they're not a knock off gets a slap. regardless, for the price asked it would be really nice if they came with a Bite Point Adjustment tho, people shouldn't even think they need to do this

Short answer, I don't think so. Using reach adjust on the lever just changes the angle that the lever sits in reference to the lever body/bar, it does not adjust the plunger in the lever body or displace any brake fluid. The free stroke remains the same when using the reach adjust. You could in theory adjust bite point further...
Never had a mushy bite point on my V4's! You need to make sure to center the pistons properly over the rotor. If their timing is off, one bank of pistons may be contacting the rotor before the other bank, engaging only one pad, flexing the rotor to one side, which would give you that sensation. I had to center...
BikeDoc has Maxima and Dirrettisima in stock, i just bought another set of Dirrettisima. I like some free stroke, light lever allows me to keep fingers on levers without engaging the brakes, reduce arm pump. if you guys want the least free stroke on the market, go with the Radic Kaha. The bleed process suggests leaving pads IN the caliper...
