Just to comment on the adjustment needing a 12mm. If you get an EXT shock in the US coming from Suspension Syndicate, the US EXT distributor and service center. The shock is provided with a small composite 3d printed tool that has a 12mm wrench and 4mm Allen key. Tool is tiny and weighs almost nothing, so no worries bringing it with even in a pocket.

I know this answer will be downvoted especially on this forum, but... I personally got rid of my upgraditis back in 2018, when I bought my first e-bike. Previously, I had changed my bike every other year, always buying one of the cheaper models and swapping over almost every component to mid/high end stuff. Every bike swap brought some clear benefits from 12mm axles, 29 wheels, geometry etc. Once I got my e-bike, with heavy cheap wheels, a heavy cheap drivetrain and its 23kg, which I got closer to 24kg once I put the heaviest DH tyres I could find...

The weight penalty on eBikes has single handedly steered me away for years. As well, the lack of modularity; all companies using proprietary batteries and electronic bits. The newer models coming out like the SC Heckler SL have me a bit interested. Then now i'm worried about fire safety, a few locals in my area know of others who've lost...

I used to be in to sports cars. Then had kids. Sports cars were too expensive and tickets werent getting cheaper. Bikes are cheaper, relatively safe and give me that same hit of dopamine man! Switching up frames/components yearly keeps it interesting and fun. Can't wait for my daughters to be old enough to hit the trails with me!

Simann Added a comment about feature Vital Wheelset Project: NOBL TR38 / Hope Pro 5 Review

12/12/2023 5:52pm
I've had no less than 4 sets of TR38 and every single one was flawless, stayed true and never had a crack. Now, I run DD/tough casing rear tires, so that could be the ticket. The new G2 rims have no decals, you can add if you want, but will be interference free on truing stand. Definitely want to try the new Pro5, my old Pro4's were indestructible. I've pretty much given up on I9 with my rider weight (220 lbs), i've broke two 1/1 hubs and also feel the Hydra's rolling resistence is noticably slower than DT350's. Had a...

Since 2017, I've purchased no less than 9 (yes NINE) wheel sets from NOBL. Zero have failed. Zero issues. Incredibly robust. Finish is second to none. Never had to use a warranty. New G2 laser etched logos look amazing!

This is my bike, I think it is just some weird artifact from the blurring or something. You can see that the grass is not blurred in the cranks cutouts. There was no stick, I was just holding the rear wheel and then letting go for a second while the picture was taken.

So, that last photo is clearly a bad Photoshop job, right? I can't add an image to this comment but look at the chainring and crankarms--the chainring is missing teeth; the grass visible through the crankarm and spider looks nothing like the rest of the background... I'm not sure if they added their cranks to a photo or just did a really messy job of blurring out the background, but that's pretty sloppy work for a press release. Weird.

I'm enjoying my 160mm 5Dev Enduro cranks, but at $1400 for the Titanium, they are only something around 60 grams lighter. Going from eeWings to 5Dev alloy cranks added some weight, over 1/2 a pound to be exact. I have not felt any particular difference in stiffness between eeWings and 5Dev, some there is something.

Strong yet compliant, preferably with a lifetime warranty program of some sort – these are all attributes that you would expect to find in today’s premium carbon wheelsets. We Are One Composites spent two years designing their latest rim, the Convergence, and they took this mission to heart. They came up with a rim that not only looks unique but offers distinct advantages thanks to its angled spoke beds. We’ve had a pair of these new wheels out on the trails for about five months now, and we’re here today to tell you all about how we’ve been getting along...

I build a few bikes up a year for fun. Feel free to take a look at my previous sold bikes! Translucent blue is incredible, looks almost black indoors or in shade, but outside in sun, an incredibly glossy dark navy with green pearl decals (see last pics). I've matched up the blue frame with the limited "Matte Midnight" Chris...
