i am personally feeling like sram is making some serious strategic errors. shimano was against the ropes but they have some really awesome offerings in the the low and mid tier mechanical gruppos. maybe sram doesn't want to play in the mud but a LOT of riders just want solid mid-tier components that work. for people better in the know: where are the the two brands at for high end wireless?

Well that disproves the hypothesis that Fox takes special care of the forks for the press camps.

If it has GRIP 2, it's one of the old chassis. The new one has the "generative arch" and would come with GRIP X or GRIP X2.

Not answering your question whatsoever, but I just wanted mention that the Fox 36 GRIP2 is kinda crap by today's standards. I've tried quite a few over the past 5 years and none have ever felt good or remotely sensitive, I assume due to a combination of stanchion/chassis binding and the GRIP2's sorta harsh damping. I haven't tried the new...

That Fluid Focus piston is actually a PUSH piston that we used to sell them as part of our DXH Factory Tuning Kit. I've seen that piston offered by a couple of independent suspension tuners that we used to sell to. Once we stopped offering those types of products, a number of tuners took the parts to local machine shops and had them reverse-engineered because they already had all of the valve codes to go with them.

So they don’t use a control pad or a control rotor? Their test setup photos don’t look like they properly apply the force to the pocket of the brake lever either. Junk science all around IMO.

According to the enduro mag test, XTR is more powerful than Dominion A4 and TRP DHR Evo, and close to the same power as mavens. I don't think their lab test is an accurate reflection of real world riding, because it's definitely not what I have experienced.

Has Frameworks made any statement about their iron cross usage? It’s a worse look now than it was on those Worlds bikes.

@NoahColorado Can I start an unofficial hopeful rumor about MRP making a boxxer/fox 40 compatible Lift damper? I mean... that's what the kids on the street are saying.

I know OP if this thread went with Bronze calipers and used steathamjig fittings to connect the hose, but does anyone know if banjo fittings are somewhat universal? If I wanted to attempt replacing my TRP E23 calipers with Maven Silver, is it as simple as disconnect the banjo and connect to the Maven caliper? In Brian's video, his comrade...
