Any system that needs to be bled every couple of rides is either broken or was not properly bled to start, independent of the type of fluid.

When I refer to "manpower" I am talking about our in-house capacity. We manufacture/assemble our posts in Taiwan in our own facilities with our own team of now 13 people. That means every single post is assembled by ourselves, not, as it is otherwise often the case, by a "partner"/factory/assembler who is contracted to do all the sourcing, manufacturing, assembly to get the product ready in the box to sell. We draw every single part, source the suppliers, have them made, get them to us and then put everything together in our own facilities with our own machines. No post...

Robstyle Added a comment about product review ARCON HD Pro Chest Protector

I've had both products, this is way better than the poc vpd... By a long way. It's more breathable on the chest protector, the clasps system to get into it is better. For the level of protection it offers I totally think the weight is fair. It has a fair bit more rib protection than the vpd. The vpd chest front edges don't actually offer much impact resistance, I get it is level 1 though. Great to see similar back coverage on both (I'm not sure why heaps of back protectors are short 🤔) Really stoaked with my one!

I swapped out gx transmission/cassette for Gen 1 axs/xo DH which saved around 300gm I think, the difference was very noticeable. Same shock, same pressures, same tyres. Retrospectively, perhaps rebound could be sped up to counter the heavier setup, but seems like a bandaid solution I guess. I've had nothing but bother with transmission, it does shift awesome under load...

With the master cylinder moving the same amount of oil and the piston calipers now bigger, you get less pad rollback (i.e. they sit closer to the rotor in the default, non-activated state). That's the trade-off for that power increase over the E4/V4s. FWIW I have had two Evo sets running concurrently since 1 month before the launch, a set of TR4s and a set of GR4s, and I can't say I can quantify more of a pad rubbing issue or anything like that compared to the previous generation. Granted, they are still pretty new and I did do some...
