Whistler will be interesting. I wouldn't want to be going to that race on the sea to sky when every mountain bike bro in the area is trying to get parking and a spot to watch. Someone trying to ghost ride a Lambo for tictok will likely shut it all down at 8am. And It'll be booked up from whistler to east van for rooms. I wonder if they'd be running 1199 or another course. 1199 seems out of frame for what the UCI is trying to run at other hills but I hope I'm wrong.

I'm actually super curious about those. I've heard and observed that most of your grip strength while riding actually comes from your pinky finger at the outside of the grip. If these bar ends allow your pinky to hold on while using less grip strength, it seems like that would be super beneficial for not only fatigue, but also being able to ride loose and smooth. Counterpoint: no one else in the World Cup seems to be rushing out to use them, or in Moto where hand and arm fatigue is even more brutal.

I personally don’t think Bernard has to do world cups to get plenty of coverage for the brand. Eddie is as much as an asset injured as he is on the podium with his personality and media. Jenna’s best results are at crankworks events. Bk is a former king of crankworks. Hardline was always bks top event of the year. Going from Bernard to daprela would be the worst look ever. Bernard’s stuff is a bit questionable but you kind of just got to wait and see and Jenna can make her own choices. But to go from someone with a large age gap relationship with questionable beginnings to a guy with sexual assault allegations would be wildly irresponsible in modern times. Owned a blackline Intend edge for some time, never really jived with it. I am a heavier rider (200lbs geared up). Things I didn't get along with the fork - 1. The compression tune was too light from factory, though I did fix that later on. On flatter rides it feels great but never quite gave the confidence to charge in more demanding scenarios. 2. I didn't watch Adam's trackwalk. I wasn't saying anything other than saying I have felt something similar to what BK said so I got a completely different takeaway from that podcast. I'm not here to be the arbiter of right or wrong nor am I pretending to be. Was BK the only person to take that alt line the previous year or is he the only person named by Adam as taking it (as a response to the podcast)? What was the line like? I'd love to compare the runs out of curiosity.

Out of interest did you see Adam Brayton's track walk vid at the Wales event? At one point he mentioned a line where there was a gentleman's agreement the previous year, which he said BK then broke. 🤷‍♂️
