I tried out a proto version of these pedals for a few months and they were great. Grip levels similar (a smidge less) to a deity supervilan, but with a bit easier to re-position your foot. Regarding the nomad 7, I'm a bit surprised that the front shock mount doesn't push further into the front triangle like the ht5/b5 do. I am/was really hoping that the n7 would have a wheel size flip chip. I don't have a ton of reason to run my nomad 6 with a 29 rear wheel, but I can see the logic of discontinuing the...

I totally agree but on the site for the current Nomad Santa Cruz specifically calls out that the carbon at the head tube is not strong enough to take impacts. If it was just legalese why would they go into that detail? I’m still thinking the thick ODI fork bumpers would do a fine job at dissipating the shock from an impact but don’t want to mess with possibility of head tube failure on a park bike of all things.

My comment "idler goes on swingarm" was a gross over simplification. An important point of context about the itrack patent is that the application was submitted in 2013. 26" wheeled dh bikes were still mainstream.

Honestly, thank god... I couldn't care less about 32" wheels. Im closer to buying a 27.5" bike 32" one.

No I can't handle all this Avinox garbage and a mainstream bike going to 32" in such close succession. Make it stop.

What's incomprehensible about "idler goes on swingarm"?

I’m pretty sure the guy that has the I-track patent lets anyone use it as long as they put a sticker on the bike. What is bullshit about that? Genuinely curious.

I highly doubt that any self-respecting bike brand would equip their bikes with S500 or S200 over Transmission. Even bike shops will have to explain to their customers why they can't just replace worn parts with the same new ones. IMO this is just a sales push towards Transmission, period, probably needed because the ole good Eagle works a bit too well.

Pretty sure these builds exist to outfit bike parks with their rental fleet for the year.

We all know enduro is past the "Golden Era" EWS days. I frequently reminisce the time period when we watched Richie Rude and Sam Hill dominating the field, and felt the community stoke for the sport at its peak. With the sad state of UCI enduro (only 5 teams signed up currently) I am curious to know what others think...

I kind of get it. I mean who wants to drink brake fluid that is not your favorite flavor? Not I.
