10/24/2023 9:31am RAAW retrofit kit to upgrade Jib and Madonna to make there bikes compatible with the new standard. I like this about RAAW, not making you buy a new bike to upgrade to a new standard but just selling the part to be able to upgrade it if you want, I think this is a good way to develop brand loyalty. https://raawmtb.com/en-ca/collections/parts/products/seatstay-udh

10/24/2023 9:30am Dude, they handling and geometry is very much understood here and basically the exact reason concepts like this exist at all. Telescopic forks have pretty glaring drawbacks when it comes to things like brake dive and friction so this is one way to get around it, while preserving good handling traits

10/23/2023 4:26pm Hm. The top right one almost looks like a steering damper. But what it actually looks like is a pull shock. At least to me.

10/23/2023 4:25pm There are some better pictures here; https://global.yamaha-motor.com/showroom/event/japan-mobilityshow-2023/… Looks to me like the front triangle is fabricated in 2 halves, then bolted together too. Their AWD adventure bike is seriously nuts.

10/18/2023 10:01am Personal gripe on website announcements is when they offer multiple builds but don't have photos of each one. (I know updated pictures will come later, just bugs me) Fantastic looking bike anyways.

10/18/2023 9:53am That is the WP version of the new Onyx 38 damper with the Cone Valve. DVO NZ reached out after I commented on it as it turns out they had been testing it for a few months already. I've had it all in bits and will run it on the Dyno tomorrow but so far- -Yes it is an actual Cone Valve design, but on the base valve instead of the mid valve. This will change its effect somewhat, since there is much less oil flow at the base valve -Overall construction of the base valve is really nice, the...

10/18/2023 9:53am What's so special about this? Shimano had single-lever trigger shifters in the 90s, just with a Y-shaped paddle.
