More like I finally have the option of a downhill bike so I want to see what all the hype is about. I am plenty happy with Enduro and from what I've heard internally, contrary to rumours, Enduro isn't going anywhere. But just wait till you see my latest bike, new year new me.

They are all the hype for a few years (OG Stinky etc. in the early -00's) to being absolutely irrelevant for some time (Magic link anyone?) to coming back to being the bees knees (Process, Carbon operator, gravel bikes) and then back into the abyss again.

As a follow up to the earlier post, I am now clear of the cancer(I consumed so much green stuff)thanks to my wife’s care and cooking still got the COPD & it’s getting worse. Along with the heart it’s been scary to say the least. Probably the worst mistake was listening to the doctors telling me no exercise that screwed me worse. Well, we lost 2 athletes to this program-but we could not be happier for their new directions. Ryan has been a TLD grom since he started racing and we always hope these riders graduate into a factory program that is still with the brand, but, ultimately hope they find a solid and stable and supportive home-GT is a great program and we always know they are in good hands with Steve Spencer and the team-congrats Ryan. Hey Guys, another update. Austin was one of the first people I called after getting hurt. We're buddies and talk/ride together fairly regularly. I let him know what was up and wanted to confirm that he was staying in Europe for the next month like I thought he was. Would be interesting if you had run it with a power meter to see if it has any positive or negative impact on pedalling performance, i.e. if you can recruit more or less muscles. I'm not sure I see the point for my mountain bike needs as I do a lot of my riding out of the saddle, but for the gravel bike it could be really interesting.

That is, indeed, a brand new Öhlins shock in the making. The whole bike scene in Sweden is buzzing with rumors about them, as they had ads with open positions for a mountain bike specific section of the company and have been seen testing stuff out.
