I would be surprised to hear the frameworks team has a million dollar budget. Teams with consistent podium riders can cost less than that… junior salaries like Asa are nowhere near that of a top elite rider. It seems like there was hints at the riders getting a share in the company as part of their contract compensation too.

Hi guys, Covid lockdown period in Europe was tough so I started my own project for a supension diy data logger, and after some fails i got an acceptable result I am using micro LiDar sensor for both front and rear suspension. Front sensor is integrated into the stem and it weigth much less than a proper potentiometer Rear sensor attached directly to the shock and pointing to the frame I am running with very raw case and cabling by now to test on the bike behavior but i am quite happy with the results...

He did say that he found it a lot more tiring to ride than the standard VPP layout, from an efficiency/pumping standpoint, and that it was slower in timed testing. That's not to say that another HP bike would be the same. Based on how my Range rides, it would be characteristic of Norco's long travel bikes, to say that they aim to maintain speed well as opposed to generating it well. More than one way to skin a cat and all. Please bear in mind this contains a lot of speculation, and I have no concrete info about this...

The inventory from Signa USA (Nukeproof/Vitus) went to Planet Cyclery / Colorado Cyclist. They quietly put it on sale last week – 50% off on some models.

maybe they‘re selling everything off with massive discounts… that‘s the account of nukeproof bikes and not their racing team.

Re Brosnan: I don't know his situation, but here is my hypothesis. He's newly married, has a hobby farm with horses and cool shit and it's Summer Holidays here in Aus (Everyone stops working for a month lol) It's 35 degrees every day, the suns out, the beach is ready and the beers are cold! Last thing I'd want to do now is head on a 24 hour flight back to Europe on the covid tin can, shiver my balls off in some French ski village away from your loved ones when he could be eating Prawns and smashing beers...

Yeah, 100 grams of rotating mass sounds like a lot, but generally speaking, I think it's really hard to identify what I'm feeling and where it's coming from on a bike. I think I could probably notice a 100 gram difference in tires if it was a front wheel and we did back to back testing with the same bike, same trail, and same wheels on the same day, and that's if you told me we were testing tire weight. But if you did blind testing and didn't tell me what change to be looking for, I'm not sure I...

Zink was over-scored. He did the same run in 13’ basically TVS was way over-scored. The caveman was not that impressive ( for a 2nd place finish ) Brendog and Bien were robbed !! Opera browser FTW!! Redbull and ESPN+ can suck it! Free for the world but not the host country? Greedy corporate BS… Typical Rampage fuckery

Maybe he has his priorities straight and wants to be there as a future father instead of throwing it all on the line at Rampage? I do think it was obvious that he was taking it easy versus what he’s capable of.

It’s nice, but I’m still holding out for a Pinion MGU with belt drive or a Bosch equivalent for a virtually maintenance free ride.

Sram making it difficult/ugly to not run the Reverb is a huge miss. Droppers are cockpit items, hugely personal and varying between riders. Locking someone into an $800 dropper with a shitty clamping mech and limited sizes is a bad call. They should've designed a single button pod with a removeable second button (ala Matchmaker) to allow either/or options depending on rider preference.
