Quite a few riders from South Africa, Spain and France live in Andorra. Bike park to train at, 10% tax on income for residents and companies, no sales tax (with only 4.5% VAT), no inheritance, estate or transfer tax and no tax paid on Andorran investment income all make it an attractive place to live.

Watching Norco go from publicly announcing they were shutting down their race team to then signing Greg and now potentially adding 3 more riders has been quite the roller coaster but I'm here for it.

I usually get sold on a brand due to their customer care. Cannondale screwed me over and made a handful of empty promises to me as a 12 year old, I’m now 36, and have made sure to go out of my way to never buy a single Cannondale related product, and steer everyone I had the chance to, away from a Cannondale product. On the flip side, I needed a bike in a hurry earlier this year and bought a used Banshee. I emailed their generic email address asking about shock tunes as the stock shock was blown. Within...

BikeYoke already does their Max versions that use a larger structure, seals, and bushings. It doesn't weigh that much more when you make everything bigger, because wall thickness remains constant (and could even go thinner in theory). Its only the lazy companies who put their 30.9 internals into the 34.9 tube that get really heavy. I think we should be looking at a 30mm+ stanchion diameter for long droppers. If every other tube has grown on modern bikes, why not actually use it for a performance benefit? Doesn't mean we have to get rid of the smaller sizes, but encouraging...

As the author and principle tester behind this article, I'll chime in. First and foremost, the methodology and scoring are explicitly detailed in the article, so it's quite easy to follow the math behind the rankings. To delve a little deeper into the thinking behind the scoring system, the weighting of the criteria is heavily skewed towards feel, grip, and performance. This is the ranking to look at if you first and foremost want a pedal that delivers outstanding grip in any circumstances, and feels like it really belongs under your foot. Of course, there will always be some personal...

Wrong order, the Lewis are the Chinese knock-offs and they are the ones required to prove themselves against the original.

Maximas are also significantly more powerful (not that the Direttissima would be lacking), they're proper DH "anchors".

Trickstuff Brakes are not exclusively available online at bike-components only. In Germany R2 Bike, Tuning Bikes, Mount7, Rose Bikes all have trickstuff brakes listed, most even in stock.

Pretty much, DT and King are the only 2 hub brands I have total faith in. I worked at the king importer here when they acquired it, I wasn't super in to the brand at all, but after several years working on them and dealing with the company they would be one of the brands I regard highest out of anyone in the industry. DT 350s are pretty much what I will choose if the budget doesn't stretch to CK - they just work
