I know negativity is cool and all in 2024/5, but this rule change or whatever you call it, is because previously, under UCI organisation teams were not allowed to sell merch from their pits. I think it was so the local organisers could make more money selling expo space to vendors etc... So it's basically a positive change... but ya.

Is that an exclusive statement or inclusive? As in they can sell WC Team merch or can only sell WC Team merch. Why do I feel like every time I read these updates they are speaking directly towards Mr Kerr and his team?

I noticed on Neko Mulally's Instagram he mentions having the bike riding like butter for the boys. Cami Balanche commented something about "and the girl too". An exchange of winky emoji's followed. Could that be a hint at Cami's future or just some friendly banter to fuel rumors?

"Firstly for teams, the 2026 registration for World Series team status will move from the end of January to November 15 the previous year. Instead of taking the ranking points of riders at the start of the race season, for 2026, the UCI will decide the eligible team for World Series status using the rankings of riders on the last Tuesday of October (in 2025)." It's coming.

Because unlike road cycling, historical there's no rider movement in MTB during the "transfer window". New teams are not finalised until January 15th each year. Therefore most riders contracts (along with marketing commitments) run until Dec 31st or even first week of Jan. So there's your answer

My comment wasn't a mix of xc and DH or EDR. It was that a DH team would need to cover three of the four categories in DH. One male, one female and say a jr male. Or a team could be Female, Jr Female.and Jr Male. Pick three of four.
