I don't want to REALLY derail this thread...but about 15 years ago I worked as an engineering consultant and ultimately spun off a small company to develop vibration based energy harvesters that were essentially tuned mass dampers. The damping was electromechanical, and tuned both with hardware and software. Our secret sauce and patent material was a mechanical means to decouple the frequency of the harvester from the input source...it could be very efficient with a wide range of input excitation frequencies. 8/28/2024 1:17am Why would Mondraker want the mass damper on the end of the swingarm though, on the unsprung mass. Wouldnt you want it on the sprung mass? (Like on carlinojoevideos setup above)

FYI I decided to sell my Intend Trinity set. You can find it on the big red website. After much consideration I really enjoy the linear power delivery of the Maximas so I will be keeping those.

Great question! Not a big difference between test #2 and #3, but yes the Ochain felt ever so slightly smoother than no pawls, and slightly quieter. My guess? More places to absorb chain movement with the Ochain, in the front and back instead of just the back.

Has anyone seen any info or rumors regarding the release dates of next gen of wireless dropper posts? I've seen the patents for the new AXS Reverb. Also there was the leaked Fox Transfer Neo as well as the BikeYoke showing off something at Eurobike. I haven't seen any solid release dates anywhere though.
