Great question! The tough thing about chainstay length is that there are very different camps on this topic, even within people of a certain height. I'm a tall person who swears by long chainstays, but lots of tall people hate them. So while it makes sense to have size specific chainstays so RC grows proportionately with FC, if they're not adjustable, your CS number's still not going to please everyone. i'm pretty blown away to have to say this to grown adults (i assume) in our forum, but every time someone trolls or says something you don't like, quoting it and explaining why it's lame/unsavory/kooky/political only makes the thing you dislike live on for days. in the history of the internet, has anyone ever changed their mind and said "you're right," after being challenged/critiqued/criticized/called out in a forum? not that i'm aware of. the garbage has been moderated for now. if you don't like something said here, use the thumbs down, move on, watch it die and it'll be forgotten...

10/24/2023 10:46pm I hope they release it with both trunnion and normal mounts on the shock! I love my EXT and I've used it for soon 5 years over 3 bikes because the tune, stroke and eye to eye can be changed. But It has me choosing frames with only normal mounts because of it.

My 2cents. I raced the 'prototype' tire in Chatel, after testing it at home, and was extremely happy with it. It shrugged off some gross impacts and felt good doing it. I'm running DT Swiss so that might help too.

YT as well on their Jeffsy Primus 24. Bought one for my daughter that is being delivered today, super cheap at €1499 (We have VAT and that shiznitz that adds 25% to any price)

A winning setup doesn't last forever...I made the choice that I thought would bring me success for many years to come. Canyon has a bigger commitment to racing and winning and I've always felt I wanted a little extra help to go even faster. I recorded a podcast with Downtime last week so that should be out soon and explain some more.

Nice bike! Just ordered a Saturn 16 frame in medium to replace my Yeti SB150, hopefully will have it in a week or so
Running very similar setup to you with full EXT and all other parts pretty fancy. Are you running a 65 stroke or 60 on the shock? I am running a "stock" Storia, not the geometron special with spherical bearings and internal spring, but it has served me well for 3 1/2 years

9/28/2022 11:16pm A shame the dropper post insertion depth seems to be similar to the AM150. Guessing the the AM170 will also be the same. Less than 200mm dropper is a dealbreaker for many of us nowdays (come on sram axs!)
