Neko's bike is super interesting. REALLY long chainstays across all sizes, and a pretty high antisquat value. I remember in his early test videos, he settled for a low pivot/mid pivot bike with more rearward axle path, and used an ochain instead of an idler pulley to overcome the pedal kickback from the rearward axle path. So if you buy a Frameworks, maybe budget an extra few hundred dollars for an Ochain. The bike also has a very low BB for a long wheelbase/long travel bike, so don't forget to buy a good bashguard or three.

Pretty sure Luca's going into a new DH program with 23degrees with Cami, Benoit and the rest of the remaining Dorval team to re-invigorate Haro with their new VPP version of the Magnum .357 DH bike. But this is put hearsay to take it as you will.

The OHV scene is absolutely nuts out there. I literally saw a semi pull up with like 10 OHVs on it which unloaded for folks to ride. There was also a Bronco convention going on when we were there, which was awesome. And the rock crawler rigs made out of welded tubing are pretty crazy. The mountain bikes are definitely a secondary attraction for the area.

i'm pretty blown away to have to say this to grown adults (i assume) in our forum, but every time someone trolls or says something you don't like, quoting it and explaining why it's lame/unsavory/kooky/political only makes the thing you dislike live on for days. in the history of the internet, has anyone ever changed their mind and said "you're right," after being challenged/critiqued/criticized/called out in a forum? not that i'm aware of. the garbage has been moderated for now. if you don't like something said here, use the thumbs down, move on, watch it die and it'll be forgotten...

IDK, what I am picking up is he has many leather-bound books and an apartment that smells of rich mahogany. We should take him very seriously and acquiesce to him throwing things that have nothing to do with rumors into a rumors thread. That said, I also don't think one should be banned for such a mistake.

Yeah if you go back to his early YouTube videos he tests a high pivot version with no OChain vs low pivot with Ochain. The OChain in -9 or -12 can make a big difference, if you pair it with low engagement hub it’s amplified this feel, but the slop at start of pedal stroke is something to get used to. For a downhill bike or park bike there’s not much of a downside using this device. The next level that I’m working on is grinding down my smallest cog as a “neutral” gear for descending.
