At one point in time, every rental fleet you saw and every privateer DH racer was on a Giant. It sounds like they're coming out with their Glory again. I've always felt like DH bikes sold the rest of the lineup. Nobody's reposting 5 year old runs of DarkFest or EWS footage or Nino punching some epic technical attack to pass the competition. It's all Gwin, Hart's balls, etc. Everyone rides trail bikes down the mountain with the thought that they're doing their own form of World Cup Downhill race. YT just isn't dependable. Maybe they'll figure it out eventually...

i'd argue there is very little difference because strait WAS in the most viewed videos and media forms available during his time. he was as "visible" as jackson and was at the top of dirt jump, slope, slalom, freeride and world cup DH in his day. strait did it all and was shown in every way possible, no different than jackson today.
