Few details about the new PP bikes : - Shan n°6 : 160mm enduro bike (n°5 has 140mm), 64.5° HA, 450mm CS length - Shan DH : no details but looking good with a similar layout but specific ratios.

Hannah Bergemann on a new Transition. Looks to be the same as what was spotted a while ago on a chairlift somewhere. They just "re-did" the TR11 so don't think it's that. Definitely meant to be DH only as that seat tube is quite short. Lower shock mount also looks different that their current alloy offerings. Could it be a new freeride specific bike? Just a special build for Hannah?

Other random bits and bobs from yesterday: 1. Danny Hart-esque custom hub end cap to deal with brake/wheel/frame flex on an unknown to me Canyon junior men’s bike. 2. Close ups of Jordan Williams brakes on his ebike as he and Loic were track scouting dueing Q2. Probably nothing new to see here, but prove me wrong. I didn’t peel the tape off the lever but I did think about it. 3. The craziest cassette you’ll ever see on Benoit Colanges’ bike. Also, the whole Scott team is on Rimpact chain dampers, which was interesting.

I'm at Leogang this weekend and wanted to get a sense of how widely pedal kickback devices have been adopted by World Cuppers, along with all the other wild accessories like TMD's/shakeweights, electronics, gearboxes, and more. So out of curiosity and as a service to my fellow nerds, I stood at the top of Q1 today and counted all the devices I could. I'm getting the new VTX in for testing shortly on my Megatower. Currently on the Vorsprung Telum. Excited to compare both against my stock SDLX Ultimate with HBO, which is a great shock in its own right.

Maybe Manitou will finally launch a coil shock but it's not yet ready hence the frame sock.

clutches were a band aid fix for chain slip/retention anyway - I'm not sure if this dual rate spring will be much better but I'm glad to see them trying something different
