In my experience, suspension is wildly complicated. Often times the correct response to a problem is the opposite of your first instinct. Sometimes if your suspension feels harsh, the correct response is adding compression. Other times, if a shock feels harsh, it means your fork is too soft. Other times it's your shock's rebound or spring rate. And sometimes it's bar height or tire pressure. A lot of variables, local maximums, and statistical noise.

I'm pretty sure he said he got along quite well with the old Mondraker that he had a bunch of solid results on as someone listed somewhere in the thread. That does only makes two or three bikes that he hasn't liked depending on if we count the current Mondraker proto they've been on. Not liking an I-Drive bike seems perfectly acceptable to me😂

The Trek HP Slash looks like the bike of the year to me. It represents everything about Mountain Biking that is awesome. This is the bike that would generate the most smiles per miles if one were able to spend a summer in a spot like Whistler and split their time between riding the park and the surrounding network of pedal trails. A friend at the shop I used to work at says they're getting Transmission problems all the time (mostly imprecise setup and some have had the mount start 'chewing' into the frame, but no broken stays as far as I know). Seems like it's generally better suited to a high standard of frame quality and very careful setup, two things not typically associated with most mountain bikes and their riders

So I need to pay $20 a month for a streaming service id otherwise have no interest in to watch 7 races, some of which are a month apart. Just to put into perspective I pay $6 for peacock and I get almost 30 races of Supercross/Motocross, Sunday night football, and some good shows/movies.

I pay a whopping $2 a month to watch motorcross and supercross on Peacock. I'd do that for DH, but no more (especially with Rick and Cedric). Tiz-Cycling streamed all the WC DH finals last year. Sometimes the feed would get cut, but then a new one would pop up. I saw every final and paid zero $ to do so. I bet it will be out there again for free you'll just have to dig for it. We need a dedicated thread for that.....
