I haven't looked into six-bar stuff in a little while but this completely flips the suspension layout, although at least to start I think the IC is in a pretty similar spot. I don't have access to Linkage at the moment but I'm sure the changes are more pronounced throughout the travel; here's a quick sketch:

I noticed the Commencal team on a different swing arm than the V5 that was just released. Bottom photo is stock frame.

Red arrows : The background isn't the original texture of concrete with small-fine gravel... ! Yellow arrows : Around the frame there is a wierd shadow... ! Green arrows : The spokes isn't straight and the same with the others, and the color is deferred, and you can clearly see it when the one spoke meets the other one... ! Blue arrows : Even on the frame and on the linkige you can some imperfections... ! Orange arrow : WTF is that... !? Conclusion... : Because i make modifications on photos and gifs somewhere up to 3 years now... and...

If marketing guys from big dogs decide short cranks are the latest and greatest, most people will follow. As with everything. If they won't, most people will stick with 170-175 because that's what we used to run back in the stone age of mtb, so it must be right. Screw biomechanics and similar mumbo jumbo.

I'm 5'8" and have been on the conservative side of short for about a year - 165. Previously on 175 my entire biking life (~20 years, I'm 34 just so we have all the metrics out there). After about a month, I got 165s for my gravel bike, too. I'd love to try 155s but it's not in the budget right now and I love the 165s. After a year, I've noticed numerous benefits that I'm confident are no placebo at this point. Mtb-wise, this year has been spent on the same bike and parts: Banshee Rune V3 w/same drivetrain...

Looks like a photoshop job to me. The linkages don't make sense at all. That's a Fox fender on a RS fork. The really slack seat angle looks like it was from 1-2 generations back.

4/21/2023 6:30am Not trying to continue beating a dead horse here but on Cam’s Instagram regarding his 5Dev crank fiasco were other people sending him pics of their own broken cranks from 5Dev. There’s no excuse for the way 5Dev handled this Cam guy and his bad experience with their product. Also, no excuse for not addressing this by recalling these faulty...

Have seen 2 arms with cracks and 1 arm that broke during a ride with the rider luckily not hurt too bad. While 5dev offered replacement or refund fast, there is clearly something wrong with the design of the arm and since its a breakage that could cause a serious injury I would expect 5dev to recall the product and replace with the new version or refund categorically.
