This was fairly entertaining. MTB Bikes are RAD. I want to get shreddy, I like to get shreddy, I need to get shreddy. I’m gonna get shreddy on my anolog bike as I have been for 20+ years and now I’m gonna also get extra shreddy on eBikes because they are super duper rad. An eMTB may not do as much damage per compared mile, but more per compared time. Say you have a 1hr long lunch to go for a ride. On your normal ride on a normal bike, you’d do one loop. Now on the eMTB would you be able to fit two laps in during that time? Are people going to ride based off of distance or off of how long they feel like being out regardless of the bike they are on? I’m personally for eMTB use on any motorized trail, and any non motorized trail that the local riding...

This. I love racing and I'll get wrapped up in the drama in the moment, but my DH racing days have been over for a while. Guys like Matt and what they're doing are what I strive for now. I'll watch every video he puts out before I worry myself about team recap vids. Except WynTV. Give me that all day.

Yes they are good value (don't read as "cheap) but there must be a reason a good amount of WC Privateers are using them, They would be using the bike they believe would provide them with the best result, price not been a factor.

Since the inception of the EWS, there's been only 15 male winners. 6 of those have only won a single race. 6 of the 15 are retired (or at least not racing most of the calendar). So you only have 9 active winners, 6 active repeat winners. To suggest that these are the only riders people have heard of is ridiculous. Furthermore, in terms of reach, one of those active, repeat winners has less than 10k IG followers. Another has just 21k. Cody Kelley has 2.5x more IG followers than these two COMBINED. And in terms of actually selling bikes...

Such a bummer, I got my start working there as an intern in the early 90's. It was l more of a 'zine' then, we still pasted the thing together with wax. So many fun memories, but print publishing is an incredibly rough business these days. Thank you to the original crew of Maurice, Elaine, Mark, and Karl. I hope you're all doing well and good luck in your future endeavours.
