I know I'm probably asking too much, but separation of Q1 and Q2 results would be good, so we can look at who got through without risking seeing the Q2 results before watching the replay.

So new XTR headlines are: no cables, no clutch and the wandering bite point might be resolved? Am the only one who was hoping for some more tangible upgrades?

No Warner, no Wyn, no Lawlor. They should probably cancel it at this stage.

Looks like the more prominent shape/indent is a second cap bolt but just to the right of it is the logo:

i just want to make one last comment re: deleting pics, community etc then i'll be quiet. over the last few years, i've become very aware of how much of a privilege it is to be a part of a community that is supported by some of the best brands in our game. but the key word here is community...YOU all are the community. without you and your sleuthing, your knowledge, your stoke for the sport and its equipment, or your informed opinions, vital wouldn't be very special. with that said, if all vital does is bow down to brands...

i added to my post above with more clarification, FYI. IMO it doesn't come down to shimano (or any brand launching a product) being the problem in this case. they have a launch coming up (they said, june 5). they have to get their product and info in the right places before the launch. it's a kook or two at these places (OE, shops, brands, media, who knows) who are posting things they don't have a right to post. if shimano asks vital to remove stuff but not other outlets, it must mean our viewers are actually important 🤣

Thanks for starting the thread Jeff. I was wondering exactly which white teflon grease noideamtber uses. I need some. I've tried a few products without finding the desired results. I'm always doing everything I can to quiet things down. I have my Zerode G3 running silent. The biggest challenge was the Dorado lower guard vibrating against the upper tube because of the brake hose and the brake hose itself. For the guard, I added velcro to the upper tube for the full length of travel. For the brake hose I cut a a large washable straw that was pretty thick...

Make a modular frame to reduce SKUs, then make loads of variants of it to increase SKUs. Smart plan.

I don’t think you get it Dave. We are going to revolutionize fork manufacturing on this forum without ever having visited a factory or even talking to a designer or engineer about the myriad of factors that affect the design and manufacture of said forks.

i posted this in the race talk thread about the pedestrian what happens during cautions and red flags in other racing sports? competitive advantages are often lost by those out front. there was significant interference on the track. she deserves a re-run if she protested (which it sounds like she did). before the "pedestrian" she could have the run of her life at the bottom and earned another spot or two at the bottom earning 5 or 10 additional points. they all add up. if this was an olympic run, would there be a re-run? 100%. UCI claims to be...

Noticed that the demo has a free-wheeling pulley on the crank, haven’t seen this in any of the other shots. Maybe I missed it… Waiting on more details about the brakes. Between the new hopes and these I really want to see what gets released first. Hard to imagine that the project black brakes are actually Brembo. I have a Brembo MC on my track bike and this design aesthetic doesn’t scream Brembo at all. My 2c is it’s a specialized design ripping off TRP Smile Just like Lewis stole Trickstuffs patents lol.
