Bottle cage mounts on a dh frame? Definitely looks better than the current TR11, though (if not a little boring. Maybe it's just the colours).

I don't agree with RAD either tbh, and with longer chainstay bikes I'll prefer a longer bb-to-bar distance as well as a much higher bar, so I really wouldn't say that once you've got your "RAD" sorted that you can get along with a wider range of geometries. I used to think RAD was a reasonable idea, but then I rode more bikes that challenged my views. I don't think I'd go full "raised reverse", to me that seems like fucking up the cockpit of a bike so badly that you need geometry that's too extreme for most trails to...

I have no way to test this, but I really do believe front-rear ratio will turn out to be a very important metric in bike design or, better yet, bike choice going into the future. Especially in larger sizes. It won't be one value to rule them all, as someone being ABLE to ride over the front will be able to manage a higher ratio, but someone not being able to ride over the front (someone pulling back defensively) will for sure benefit from a lower ratio by having more balanced grip over the two wheels. The cannibal at $52 is a great tire. I'm a fan of the radial MM but if you prefer tires with a locked in cornering feel and a supportive side wall, it may not be for you. I think the radial MM is better at slower speeds where mechanical grip is favored in lieu of support. Michelin tires might be worth considering. The MS is a better version of the Magic mary imo, with more support yet still supple. The MH is more similar to the other tires you mentioned - has a pronounced channel and provides locked in grip...

They weren't mass produced compared with other GT DH models. There are so many custom machined detail parts all over it that i doubt they made much profit on them. GT used to be very experimental back then. Sorry for going OT on the brake thread

Back to rumors I lost the pic but a while back (like October? There was Nina Hoffman on an alloy test bike that clearly had the VPP lower shock and a dual crown that was a nomad mega tower Bronson act look a like. SC to be Specialized will work out about as well as Norco or Rocky trying to be Canadian SC. (what Forbidden is) If we must evolve into crab link on SC at least we may get more aluminum models like we did with the Vala? In no world ever could I justify the entry level alloy Levo over the $6k Vala AL.
