I think their Mach 4 XC bike has a Sid Ultimate spec. That seems to be a pretty common thing, offering Rockshox stuff on an XC bike even if most of your line is specced with Fox. I've seen it from a few companies (the one that sticks out in my mind is Yeti - though they offered a Rockshox-specced SB120 Lunch Ride for a few years but have since gone back completely to Fox aside from their ASR). But XC bikes are kind of a different thing. I also think this is the first time Pivot has offered Rockshox...

2 chainz ain't cheap! The numbers I heard here, subject to change on landing, were roughly $4800 for the frame + I believe a crank, $10k-ish for the S-Works , and $11.8k for the Team Replica. I wonder how many lower-tier offerings they'll have. GX DH on an $8k bike?

People get angry with you because you ignore other people's opinions. Go watch moimoi test the frameworks enduro bike, discover it's less flickable than he expects, then discover later on that the chainstay is long and that's what he was feeling. It has always meant something that's less stable, more dynamic, more bmxy, and it's weird AF to pretend that those qualities in a bike don't exist or that you can't attribute a lot of that behaviour to a shorter stay.

Seeing Jackson’s brakes, it wouldn’t be the first time shimano has prototyped stuff on race bikes and then not released them. IMO the rest of the group set needs updating. The cranks don’t accept an ochain, and the derailleur is a noisy 10 speed. The whole saint group set feels outdated compared to sram. I’d love to see the new brakes come out but I’m not holding out hope. Could be this year, next, or never. Shimano moves slow, but pivot is spec’ing saint on their top tier phoenix so maybe people still want it? I wouldn’t drop $9.5k on...

Agreed here. The Noken saved my buddy from tossing his Zeb into the trash pile. He loves it now after doing this quick/cheap 'upgrade'. This is why the new Zeb has the LinearXL on it (their version of integrated Noken).

I had to look that old enduro up to figure out how it worked. They used a notch machined into the shock. And then later went to the proprietary bolt on version. Which i believe led to BikeYoke making their first yoke. @Sacki is the specialized yoke the origin of Bikeyoke?
