As someone who was there from the very beginning (okay EWS #2), I think the story arc of EWS/EDR is a bit more complex that people think, and that Chis Ball is not the boogie man some make him out to be. EWS was not just Chis Ball, it was a run by a board, with Chis as the most public facing member of the organization. Keep in mind that in 2013 enduro racing was seen as an exciting new sport (yes I know, it wasn't new in France and Italy) and the timing was perfect with new wheel sizes...

Regarding Moi Moi. Kind of hoping he as well as the rest of the enduro people start using the “Trans-X” races to have their own thing for bragging rights. Kind of what racing used to be in the first place. Don’t know if anyone else noticed, but he seems to have started following Forbidden in the last half of the year or so. Anyway Jack on a Druid or Dreaddy is a personal pipe dream. Just wish my calves weren’t so fat. This is fast becoming one of my favorite podcasts, well done y'all! The production part at the beginning was so good, I'd happily listen to a multi-episode deep dive on the entire process, especially all the little details we never hear about (3d-surfacing, multiple versions of drawings, the difference a particular production line at a given factory can make etc. I had NO idea!)

Not correlated! I know that Alan, who's in charge of Enduro, is very committed. He is doing a lot of work behind the scenes to make changes that will help Enduro, I am excited for what he has in store. Excited enough to come out of retirement for a race or two in the future. Masters class is only a few years away for me.

1) I think this YT segment of pods (and Brine's involvement) has been really good lately and I would love to see Vital do weekly pods (of any type) to stay on the pod-radar, even if its just 30-45 mins jabbering about bikes, gear, whatever. The DH season w/ Dak is great, and likewise, the details on bike biz that Jeff's been pitching in on - which I thought would be must-miss - were must-hear really, and w/ Charlie & Schroeder... this has been pretty damn interesting.
