So I kind of like the new format when it comes to Q1 and Q2, but I wish they kept the vestiges of protection, and if top riders qualify in Q2, they still race at the back on raceday. It really sucked to see Jackson, Amaury, and Finn have 30 only seconds of their run broadcast in Poland because they got in in Q2.

So there's no Wyn Masters on the start line today If warner brothers do not get him in the booth for commentary then I just give up on the whole thing They may be able to redeem some respect by giving wyn a full time position in the booth I'm praying this is happening

if the rules and enforcement of the rules go out the window, then why compete? the wind got sucked out of enduro often b/c of the easy ability to cut the course without penalty. lack of basic rule enforcement is hardly a recipe for a sport to be taken as seriously as the olybet PR makes WC sound. crazy that world cup DH racing (what i thought was the most simple and objective form of MTB competition) has so much subjectivity lately. lack of consistency in course boundaries, the idea that because you crashed doesn't mean you deserve a re-run...

yep, I seriously love Hans, you know how they say never meet your hero's? Absolute opposite with him. Ran into him about 20km outside queenstown at a tiny pub and he was the nicest guy ever, we talked shit for easily 2 hours. Great guy and I hope he wears that GT cap forever. My MTB Hero.

@bizutch AGAIN, your points A-E have been discussed and settled here days ago. clearly the UCI didn't care about the color of the poles on the jump and they used the timing blow-up as the outside barrier in that section as well as in one other place on track. that was how they marked the course with their official B Line around the jump. it had been in play since day 1, despite the insanely confusing layout of the markers.

It might sound ridiculous, but I've had laryngitis for over a month, which makes it pretty hard to podcast haha Also Dak is in full training/recovery mode and returns texts/calls on average in 7-10 business days. Dak just got to Europe, so we are planning to podcast later this week after he wraps up some testing.
