If you listen to the latest Downtime podcast, it was Neko who invited Ken and set up the whole thing. I can't help but feel that people are in the habit now of only seeing everything from a purely negative perspective - maybe we could all get a grip and stop whinging 100% of the time...

Could be a water reservoir to drip onto the rear brake and cool it, this is something I've seen used from time to time by racers over the years. Sounds like the track is hard on brakes, so some cooling might be beneficial. What a contrast from last week when people were having issues with cold brakes.

I want to congratulate Vital and Lawlor on the best content to come out of round 1. I hope to see this continute with a rotating cast of riders at every round. By following the riders over the course of a weekend the story lines come to the front and you see the drama play out from the riders point of view. 👏🏼

Except there was at least one other jump on the track where the B line and main lines were split by a pole. Having inconsistent course markings is a recipe for misinterpretation and ambiguity.

And I am impressed with Oisins result on regular non-mud tyres. He was running Kryptotals front and back on a track that definitely warranted mud or at least intermediate spikes… What a talent

Fox knows that if you really want an USD fork you will deal with the hub issue one way or another. Can’t imagine an actual Fox USD fork customer saying “oh no nevermind I am obsessed with my current front hub and I am also too poor for a wheel build

Thought this was an interesting screen grab of Reece Wilson’s body position riding a short stem and longer chainstays (no idea what they actually are since they have been testing proto stuff, but stock geo says static 445-460mm). Looks like he’s riding a moto.

The latest Michelin Wild Enduro MS tyres reminded me of supertacky, sticking to the floor when the bike had been sat for a while, flinging rocks up and generally being very sticky.
