Re: Melamed to Canyon rumour, he is a methodical bloke, going from a seemingly a lifetime of Fox/Shimano to Rockshox/SRAM would take some serious adjustment. At least the critical tyres would be the same, but the swap of suspsension alone would be a huge adjustment to make.

Loosedog also announced he was off santa cruz a couple weeks ago, wonder if theyve heavily cut down on non-racers? I was riding at Dyfi bike park a few week back and the whole 50to01 crew were there. Craig Evans was riding a prototype Airdrop bikes frame.

I could see why Mucoff dropped him. He hasn’t done any contests since that one time he wasted his invite to rampage. It just seems like why would you pay someone who barley puts out any content or is that active in contests. It just seems to me he is much more into advertising his trust fund money buying him a passion project recreational pilots license. I hope MucOff puts more money into up and coming dirtbags from an inner city, not some rich BC trustfunders who probably don’t even need sponsorship to begin with. Also who wants to pay...

No surprise to hear comments about the Madison Saracen team. I at Fort William and someone (not sure who but looked like management, definitely not a rider) was absolutely losing his sh.t at the mechanics in a public pit. Certainly not someone I would consider working for.

You'll still need to adjust and fine tune the shifting. Hub endcaps and end of endcap spacing to freehub is not specified. I wonder what will happen with bikes that don't have UDH, will there be a variant available? And what about cable actuation... I'd much prefer X01 cable actuated than GX AXS... Plus yeah, snapping off or bending the UDH mount and killing the derailleur would kinda suck. That piece being replaceable would be quite nice.

Will going back to non-headset cable routing the new threaded BB? Companies jump on the integration trend now and then in a few years some company will go back to the "old, better style" of external routing and be lauded for finally listening to the consumer and then over the next three years most companies will return to where we are now in the ever cyclic world of... Well, cycling.
