I think Kyle Straight would take that title. He was shredding and getting photos in the mags as a baby faced kid and rode in the first rampage at 16. Jackson is awesome though and it is cool to see him progressing from balance bike to World Cup DH.

It’s unfortunate to see Zink wash through so many sponsors over the years including some questionable ones - Corsair (I think), Hyper, Evil when they were really struggling, etc. if he’d played his cards right he’d be a godfather figure for a brand. But that interview (and other things) reveals it’s not just his playing of the cards…

He talks about it at length in a bike check vid on the other site, boils down to it being a better freeride bike pre-gwin, who turned it into a race machine (his words, not mine).

Lol last time I believe he added a backflip and maaaybe a 360, but you're probably right and I think the event organizers like it that way. I remember seeing an interview with them about why guys like Silva/Tom van Steenbergen weren't invited earlier, and they were like, we have to balance bringing crazy young talent out here with a...

Of course, Pinkbike poached this one and ran their own "story" on it. The comments are interesting, with lots of people suggesting Tinker was perhaps not the most approachable guy. Who knows. I've never met him. What I do know is it seems a lot of athletes struggled to transition from the "results mean everything" racer they may have been in the 90s to the "ambassador" of today. In a lot of ways, racing is a lot easier, if you have the raw talent. Being an ambassador would be exhausting. A never ending churn of content, where you have to...

New Fox shock coming soon? Doesn't look like the Float X (the EVOL 'bump' in its profile is gone) and the adjusters look more like the Float X2/DHX2. Pics from the Meta SX/Meta Power SX announcement:

Well, here is the answer to the question (it is way way closer than I realised): Daprela must stop Vergier from winning, or be within a couple of places. If Loris is top 10, Daprela must be top 20, so don't expect any safe runs. Vergier (1), beats Daprela (2) :[250, 200][956, 952] Vergier (2), beats Daprela (4) :[200, 150][906, 902] Vergier (3), beats Daprela (6) :[170, 115][876, 867] Vergier (4), beats Daprela (8) :[150, 102][856, 854] Vergier (5), beats Daprela (11) :[132, 84][838, 836] Vergier (6), beats Daprela (14) :[115, 66][821, 818] Vergier (7), beats Daprela (15) :[108, 60][814...
