1/13/2025 6:59pm I'm not rich enough for a nice modern bike so a few years ago I bought a Cannondale Prophet frame and began building it up. (See my bike check) I modernized it and with its 1.5 headtube I'm able to run a modern tapered fork. I couldn't do thar with an IS headset.

Nice brakes! I run shigura xt/mt5 on my burly trail bike build. I love it. I also use the mt7 pad system as the mt5 pads drove me crazy. Nice build!

7/22/2023 11:50am I'm not a racer. I just ride for giggles. So I set my shock sag and just go by feel for the front. I don't check every ride or even after several. I just toss the bike in the back of my xterra and hit the trails. I do get my suspension serviced at more or less proper intervals though.

m travel and a 170mm fork.he 12mm thru axle rear end. I can't tell if the front triangle has iscg tabs though. I still ride a modernized standard Prophet with a 27.5 conversion. See my bike check for pics if you want. The mx variant is the golden unicorn. I'd love to find one to build up. They're burlier and can be molded for 160mm travel and a 170mm fork.

This is great! I used to live in a suburb of his home town of Reading, PA. I got see him race a local event in 2007 when he was riding junior for Specialized. He absolutely killed it and I remember thinking he was gonna go far. I was right! Slay it, Neko!
