My understanding is that major tuning for both forks and shocks is done ahead of time with the teams and riders. This allows much more time for testing. That way riders are just making small changes to fine tune for each track. I don't think there is time for major changes at every WC race.

It's sad to me that the industry didn't just do what Guerilla Gravity did with the channel down the frame w/ a cover. Ease of access to all cables in a single groove & no cutting and bleeding, funneling or tunneling.

I don't know anything about BK's background, but the guy does 3 jobs. Team owner, team manager, and pro rider (top 5 in the world). He deserves to reap the rewards because that requires a serious amount of hard work and dedication, and of course talent. Not to mention his sideline projects such as the clothing brand. Plus the guy is super likeable, clearly loves riding, and is refreshingly open and honest in interviews. It would be awesome to see him standing on top of that podium in 2024.

Bang on I reckon. I don’t think it’s the carbon that makes the Atherton frame so expensive but the process of 3D printing the titanium and then needing to remove from the ‘sprue’ and finish by hand. Designed well, CNC machined lugs should be ready to assemble out of the cabinet, saving a huge amount of time.
