Vital DH Fantasy will open tomorrow morning. Game will close BEFORE Elite Qualifiers (closes Friday at 11:50pm PST, Elite's qualify on Saturday). Juniors will have qualified before the game closes, however. Should be fun.

Are you thinking of the Gen 2 Sight or the Gen 3 which had the "pick your battery size" idea with removable batteries? Mine was a Gen 2, with the non-removable battery made by Simplo. (but still plenty of wire harness issues and even broken chainstays!) My dealer would always give me nebulous answers on getting a new battery. "It's Shimano handling the warranty, but maybe we can order it" ??? Back to the point at hand, what's going to happen to all those Decoys 5 years from now when they need new batteries? I'd love to buy a used...

I could buy one, but I won't. Frankly, I still can't get on with the "bloated" look of most e-bikes. Not to mention the heft. Having to get a ramp to roll it on to my bike rack, or pray that the electrics work when you want it to is not my cup of tea. Electronic shifting is about as far as I will go for now. Unless i'm hit with a huge health issue and down for years and want to get back into the sport, then I will consider an e-bike.

I don't really have the first idea how this stuff works but I'd kind of assumed that YT would restructure their finances and then pretty much carry on as normal .But maybe the race team is having to be sacrificed to save the company, that set up must be a fairly big outlay when cash is at a minimum. Wyn was also making an interesting point about rock shox and Shimano sponsoring the series next year and how that effectively makes the pot for the teams smaller when their looking for sponsorship. Seems a pretty fair point to me...

Just listening to the OTB podcast . Rumor from them is that the YT truck got repossessed and the team won't have the funds to make the north American rounds . Pretty rubbish situation all round .

I hate to be even mentioning the subject again but could all the people making snide comments about a certain relationship stop and think about how the younger party feels about having her private life as a topic of conversation? Most of the people frowning on the relationship probably waffle on about mental health constantly while being oblivious to the effect their own comments have on people. I'm all for free speech but these professionals are entertaining us and putting their lives on the line for peanuts and some readers of these Mtb sites are talking trash about riders private...
