You must not have ever ridden moto. Using the rear brake in the air is a definite technique to bring the front end down a bit.

Pick a chainring size and be a dick about it? Honestly who cares. Kind of reminds me of skiing, where if you don’t ski on 130 flex boots you’re a lil bish. I have a commute and regular guy job and live kinda far from trails. I don’t have as much free time as others to be an ascent monster. Let me enjoy my 30t ring. Don’t yuck my yum yo!!

Would be nice but I believe CX gen 5 has a different offset for a 55mm chain line than Avinox.

I want to get an O-Chain but all the compatibility differences are too confusing for me.

If this fits Bosch Isis cranks, does this work on other eebs with the Isis standard? i.e. Avinox?

For what it’s worth, the rear triangle on Alden’s Crestline e-bike frame that has been converted to a dh is being made stiffer for him. Provided he’s a tall guy riding hard.

I will never understand the ā€œit’s a whole separate sportā€ thing. I ride my ebike exactly like my analog bike just do more laps. Literally every other person I know with an ebike does the same and is not going out and climbing up downhill trails in boost. I see plenty of e-bikes on the lift at the bike park being ridden like analog bikes. The innovation is happening in the motor and battery because the ā€œbike partā€ of the tech has plateaued. Amflow proved this by making a decent riding bike out of thin air.

Hey all, I can finally take off my very sneaky blue tape camouflage to reveal that yes, I’m reviewing the new Nomad. Because I’ve spent so many years on the old Megatower, I’m framing this as a Megatower vs. Nomad comparison. Especially interesting for me because of the rumors that the Megatower is going away and the new Nomad does not take 29ā€ rear wheels. I only have a couple rides in on the new bike, but so far the geometry feels really good and the bike feels solid and stout. Weirdly I haven’t been able to figure out the...

You're missing the point. For a two pound penalty you can have double the range. You can set your avinox to a low eco mode and have the same gentle assistance. The first time you try and go on a ride with your full power ebike friends on your TQ you'll understand that it just makes so much more sense to have a bike that can do both

This forum is for discussing anything related to the 2027 RockShox Zeb fork (B1 models). Feel free to ask questions , leave helpful tips for setup/service, or provide notes about how the fork has worked for you. RockShox has completely overhauled its Zeb fork for model year 2027. They took what they learned developing the latest Boxxer and applied many of the same technologies and tuning ideologies to their single-crown gravity fork. Everything is new with the Zeb, from the chassis to the damper and air spring, to the external adjustments. Below is a deep dive into all the changes...

The remaining RockShox forks and shocks are finally officially live: Zeb - https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/2027-rockshox-zeb-fork-tech-info-im… Lyrik and Super Deluxe - https://www.vitalmtb.com/features/first-look-my27-rockshox-lyrik-fork-a… Vivid - https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/rear-shocks/rockshox/vivid-ultim… There is a lot of trickle down tech that was first released with Boxxer and Vivid Coil. My time has been most spent on the new Zeb, and it's been really really impressive. So much grip, really light off the top and easy on the hands, new ABO adjustment is really useful and impactful, and the fork has felt the same day in and day out. It's definitely linear, so has a different feel. More muted and calm...

Let me introduce you to my friend shimano... lol Dominions have kind of the worst of both worlds, lots of lever travel and a short ramp that goes from initial bite to rear tire lockup very quickly. Ride T4V4's and Dominions back-to-back in steep loose over loose conditions and you will appreciate the power and control that the hopes gift you with less lever travel. Don't get me wrong I like my dominions; my 2 primary bikes run both the T4V4's and A4's, but the A4's are not easy to keep from locking up in situations where the hopes have...

It would be amazing if they did 11sp for e-bikes. 12 is just not meant for them with the extra power but I want to be able to stand on my eebs derailleur.
