Bold move for Daprela. Completely new EVERYTHING for him to learn/dial in. Suspension, brakes, tires, drivetrain, all different than his Commencal build. I think the team is great fit for him, fingers crossed he can stay healthy. The opportunity to work with Fabian (especially as a fellow Frenchman) must be really exciting.

That was close in Loudenvielle last year with Dylan being 6th at a hair of podium... Also pretty close for Brendan and Dean in 2019... not mentioning seven world-cup win for Marine and countless podiums... Let's see what 2024 will bring !

Good sign for Scott, they badly needed a top 10 rider to bring their name back to the front pages. With Craik, Levesque ( who is on the up) and Marine, that's a good team right there.

E-enduro is my guess

From listening to Dak on the Downtime podcast recently it sounds like he will still be on an intense frame for 24. He was saying how he’s always struggled in the past with having a lack of consistency in terms of bike setup and having to keep switching brands/not having enough time to get used to a bike. Then went on to say he was stoked to finally have some consistency going into 24 which suggests still on an intense frame…

I know it's Rumours, so we're not supposed to stamp them out...but people gotta stop thinking Gwin is gonna dump WC to go full time WindRock. It's absurd. Neko & Sean ran it for several years now without having to be present full time. Sean's infrastructure & logistics blueprint is firmly in place & peak summer isn't as demanding of ownership as fall/winter/spring. Hart & Atherton's have parks they don't drop WC for. It's a silly thought.

A lot of confused people posting in this thread. IFR for the last few years has been owned by Aaron and run by Todd Schumlick. Intense is no longer sponsoring the team, but the team will likely continue with a new headline sponsor. This will not be Frameworks. Neko has Martin Whiteley on board to run Frameworks team with Neko, Angel and Asa signed. Dak is on a new team, not with Aaron. This may be MS Intense, which used to be MS Mondraker.

I don't think anyone has pointed this out yet: YT has dropped a bunch of their influence-thletes, the thought is to pay for Vali, Could it also be for Mr. Bomba and Party Boi? I dont believe enduro is going away anytime soon, even if it looses it's WB-Disc viewership. The fact is the bulk of us riders are on bikes which we pedal up and down. Given that thought it would, to me, make sense to still have a presence in enduro for YT. Bring on the YT MOB SQUAD!! Live life unblazzed!

Do we have any precedent for former Red Bull Helmets turning into Monster Helmets? It seems like the contract issues surrounding such a move would be pretty tough even for someone like Aaron Gwin. Unless he maintains a sort of distant but still mutually beneficial relationship to such a team, it's highly unlikely we'll see Gwin own a Monster Energy team. To be fair, in the road cycling world teams are talked about more the way that Bizutch is doing. The team is really built around the sport director, and even when a team's entire docket of title sponsors changes, it's not considered to be a folding or dissolution of a team. if intense factory racing isn't intense factory racing because intense isn't a sponsor, that means intense factory racing is shutdown/dissolved/whatever you want to call it. even if there is a team w/ the same management/players, it won't be called intense factory racing therefore intense factory racing ceases to exist, right?

Gwin owns IFR. I'd think two things would happen, that Intense stops supporting IFR, but keeps supplying frames, Gwin rebrands as a new team. Or, Intense severs completely, leaving the former IFR team to find a new frame sponsor. I think the later is unlikely, considering the development of the bike and the fact that Dak just was shilling for Intense on social media. Looks like Greg’s on fox head gear with smith optics. Seems odd after being synonymous with Oakley for his entire career and then fox goggles for the majority of 2023.
