whitetux Added a new video Christo Gallagher Shreds Flowing Lines in Scotland
11/29/2024 12:30pm Glassie Bike Park is an incredible network trails built predominantly by Ray Will and a handful of volunteers. The work and love that has gone into these trails is truly amazing and my favourite trail is Cam'n'Em (A trail named after Ray's two kids). Doug Somerville and I set about trying to capture the best bits of Cam'n'Em in the Spring and of course it took us all year to make an edit less than two minutes long, but I hope you can enjoy the craft that we put in and you can see the incredible flowing lines that Ray...

whitetux Added a comment about press release Privateer Bikes Releases More Details of Gen 2 Ahead of Pre-orders
12/22/2023 1:23am To be fair, a little bit of organisation is all that's required like it was just a couple of years ago, whereby you always keep a spare a hanger at home or bring it on a trip, and it's pretty rare to damage one anyways.

whitetux Added a comment about feature Five Ten Cool Hwip Clipless Shoes
8/20/2011 1:01am are some of you's really missing the big reason why riders want a v10 sole even when clipping in? Well as a clipped in rider, I was really excited when the Minnaar came out and I am just as excited now because when you clip out, you don't always get clipped in straight away and the 5.10 sole allows you to have a lot more grip on the pedal compared to another brand of clip shoe.

whitetux Added a reply to 2011 UCI World Cup Filming Rules
2/19/2011 1:32am These restrictions seem completely pointless, I mean apart from the 800 euro fee at the champs, I do not see anything that the UCI can gain from this

1/31/2011 12:08pm You need to know if hitting it is worth possibly getting injured. If you know what your doing then the chance of crash is much lower. Personally I just figure out if its worth hitting (jump/drop/sketchy gap line on a dh track etc) and if it is, then I'll usually give it a go. Definitely for big jumps, don't think...
whitetux Added a reply to your ideal trail bike head angle?
1/25/2011 11:34am For me personally i'd say 67/68 on a trail bike. I'm not in much of a rush to get up the hill and it means i can have more fun on the downhill which is what really matters.
whitetux Added a reply to DH Tires and Pressures
1/10/2011 7:52am I mainly use Maxxis High rollers and run around 30 in the back and 25 up front to avoid punctures, but still maintain grip (for fort william downhill or other tracks which you are more likely to puncture at then add an extra 5 psi in each tyre). For wet conditions I'll use spiked tyres (cut wetscream or similar) and...
