Just watched Accomplice on Netflix last night and really respected how much time and effort Zink put into making sure that Paul Basagoitia wasn't left feeling alone. Zink taking the time and effort to put that message out on his social media and make a change raised my respect for him even more. Pretty cool... Edit: whoops, name.

FWIW I stopped using Instagram... 4 or 5 years ago now. It really does make life better, ignorance really is bliss. I stick to forums (because the content is better there) and of the social media, to YouTube (it actually has some replay value, unlike IG/FB where once you saw the photo and double tapped, that's it) and some groups on FB, mostly bike related. And I use 'Newsfeed eradicator' browser extension for FB to not get sucked in to the horrible feed of my 'friends'. Regarding rumors, what info is still up in the air? UR and Unior -...

If every single company you worked for is really really bad, regardless if they're not paying your checks anymore or not, what's more likely to be the issue, all the companies or you (it's a general you, not 'bulletbass man' you)? Some people can get over negative experiences working for certain companies even without dragging them through the mud.

Agreed. I couldn’t care one bit about the “bashing” of previous sponsors. Most people have had a job that didn’t work out well and I don’t think people owe much of anything once a company is no longer signing your checks. But nothing is cool about reckless driving or the use of slurs. And a huge difference between making a poor decision in a moment and actively broadcasting stupid behavior bound to have negative effects on others. Still have respect for zink. Being in the public eye as a professional athlete comes with simple responsibilities around decency. You don’t have to be the perfect role model, you just have to be a decent person. Besides this terrible incident, he has posted videos of driving recklessly (cutting double yellows, swerving around people in blind corners) in his Porsche on a known deadly local road for cyclist and motorcyclist. I am not going to speak on behalf of Primoz, but the ancient druids of the mtb practiced the the arts of maintenance, which has been thougt to be forgotten some time in the 2010's. There may be some scrolls hidden on deep into the search results in the Great Maze of the Google.

Food for thoughts: Out of the Top 20 Men WC DH Overall Standings, after most team transfert done 13 are now on Fox Suspension 4 on Rock Shox 3 on Ohlins Are Fox products that much better? Are they (Fox) giving THAT much more sponsorship money ? Are they offering such a superior support at the race? If you would be a top 10 guy, would you rather have a "personal" custom support like Loic & Ohlins or be with the mass and go where everybody else go because you'd feel they truly offer something better?
