On Gee's contract, you have to assume it is at least partially based on content and visibility. He is one of the most recognizable names/faces in DH and constantly puts out crazy edits and events in addition to racing. That is just as or more valuable to RB than a few good races. So its likely a mix of both for him. Just the way the sponsorship game works these days.

Going by the junction at bb and seat tube post I’d assume it’s a dh bike. I remember during his inside line one of the canfields mentioned he thought commencal’s high pivot was too high. Seems pretty much everyone agrees including commencal.

I may or may not have been gifted one of these tires and may or may not have a couple hundred miles on it already. Casing construction is stiff, but not too stiff. I only have Specialized tires to compare it to and it sits in between the grid trail and grid gravity. 2.5", but on the narrow side. Rubber compound seems good, little to no signs of wear so far. Never weighed it, I would guess 1,000-ish grams. Tread pattern works well, I can give it the best compliment I can give any tire which is I simply forget...
