10/16/2023 12:05pm I don't remember which account it was exactly (chainslap news?), but a while back a meme page was making jerseys using the 100% logo that said 72% instead, and got slapped with a cease and desist from 100%. I get why they'd do it, but this thing with Kade and the helmet seems pretty on brand for 100% considering.

Speaking of Pinkbike, the Troy Brosnan podcast contained info that Kade ran out of helmets (by breaking them), indeed ran Jackson's helmet with Fox logos covered and 100 % intervened, preventing him from racing.

That is the WP version of the new Onyx 38 damper with the Cone Valve. DVO NZ reached out after I commented on it as it turns out they had been testing it for a few months already. I've had it all in bits and will run it on the Dyno tomorrow but so far- -Yes it is an actual Cone Valve design, but on the base valve instead of the mid valve. DH will never achieve mainstream viewership. It's more boring than baseball if you're not a dedicated fan. Anyone who tells you DH is about to "break through" is selling you a bridge. The Rampage broadcast could achieve mainstream viewership in theory, but the way they broadcast it live is SOOOOOO long and boring, and it's a just once-a-year event which makes it hard for people to attach to. As it sits, watching a live Rampage broadcast is a mix of boredom, white hot panic, and frustration.

I know that the only frame Ryan Pinkerton broke, was hitting a tree in Tennessee. Other than that he has been on the same frame all year with zero issues. He tends to be very hard on bikes.

10/10/2023 1:09pm I suspect they're referring to the frame that broke at VDS under Roger Vieira. I don't think there's been widespread breakage aside from that. I could well be wrong though. Looks like a great bike to me otherwise, but I have to admit seeing that photo is alarming at first.

The GT Fury + Fox + Continental combo hasn't been this good since the Atherton days. It's definitely worth a look if you're a privateer looking at getting a new bike for next season.
