1/20/2017 9:43pm Overall sound quality and recording was great. Amazing how many podcasts sound like they're made in a trash can. Nice relaxed interview style too.

1/20/2017 9:42pm intro killed it, as did the whole interview and elliot too. Only thing its missing is an outro. Felt a bit awkward and open ended. You should add the ever present slide show background music or something

1/20/2017 9:42pm thanks for the feedback everyone. @drewnobi, i'll see about overcast...we're new to all of this. @ahab, i've done 4 other interviews (and am doing a 5th one today). they'll probably launch every week or so for now and will try to keep the momentum up throughout the season. it's been really fun doing these interviews.

1/20/2017 9:42pm man this is really, really, really interesting.. As said by that other guy in the rumours thread, we love the guys racing WC, EWS and all, and we know they're (most of them) down to earth, chilled, fun guys that enjoy what we enjoy and are just better at that. Since they're all super approachable, Eliot included ( when I marshalled in val di sole, in 2012 or so, I had the chance to chat with him and it was a memorable and fun encounter), it's nice to get to know them beyond their riding or the image portrayed through...

1/20/2017 9:41pm VITAL - Thank you for doing this...The MTB podcast world has a giant hole in it and hopefully this fills it. OFF_TRACK was great but they stopped doing it a while back...Please don't only stick to racing, anyone who is interesting in our world would be very welcomed...Mechanics, Industry Guys, Racers, Riders like Vories etc...

1/2/2017 5:34pm I was going to tag you in this for that reason there, knew you would be smiling inside for that one, haha. On the note of "plus tires" and 2.6" tires. - maxxis "2.8" measures 2.55 wall to wall, on a 35mm ID rim. So what are their 2.6s, relabeled 2.4s?? A WTB convict or breakout in 2.5 on a 30-35mm rim measures barely over 2.5. And schwalbe is similar. Things that should be out for 2016, not knowing how to label your shit correctly, that's so #2011 #getittogether

1/2/2017 5:14pm So with you on the dropper post stuff. I assume it must be harder than it looks to make one that works but I'm darned if I know why.

5/17/2016 9:24am The vast majority of DH gear began as moto gear, and over time various features (like leather inner thighs) were stripped in an effort to make them lighter and more directly applicable to DH. We still see those moto roots today in many of the designs. Personally, I can't see going back after wearing the Demo Pro pants. The freedom of movement and ventilation they allow is excellent, though there is of course a tradeoff. Knee pads serve as a more robust/reliable form of protection under the pants, while the pants themselves have a fabric that's durable enough to withstand...

5/11/2016 9:15am my heart goes out to his friends, family and everyone in the mountain bike community. always seemed a genuine person--didn't know him but his spirit shined through tv interviews. damn. my best friend died while we were on a ride together. just the two of us. fucking heartbreaking. this story, along with some beers, brought it all back and now I'm weeping at the bar. May you all find peace and live your life to the fullest.

5/11/2016 9:15am R.I.P. Steve Smith. He was a great rider to watch on the World Cup circuit and Crankworx Whistler won't be the same without him.

5/11/2016 9:14am A couple of seasons back I watched Stevie race at the Hafjell world cup. The conditions were dry for practise but rain was forecast for race day. Stevie sessioned his wet lines for both practise days, displaying his unique, loose but powerful style. I watched as he hit the exact same lines, time after time with military precision. Race day came and the heavens opened. Whilst other riders were changing their lines and getting their heads in a mess, Stevie was on it. I watched his finals run as he once again hit his lines to perfection with amazing accuracy...

Its a toss up between Claudio's track previews and vital's RAW for me. Still my heart leapt when i saw the RAW was up. Great Job Vital. Also, did anyone else think Gwin was noticeably faster through the whoops?
